How it works

  1. Request a quote

You fill in the quote form with your BV structure and the number of transactions per month; within one working day you receive a concrete fixed monthly fee (excl. VAT), all inclusive.

  2. We handle the transfer

If you are switching from another firm, we contact your current bookkeeper and collect your records, so there is hardly anything left for you to do.

  3. We set up your administration

We open your file, configure your bookkeeping software and make sure all current obligations (VAT, payroll tax) continue seamlessly without interruption.

  4. You run your business, we watch the deadlines

From the start date we process your administration, file all returns on time and keep you informed proactively about what is going on in your BV, without you having to track the calendar yourself.

Why BV bookkeeping takes more than ordinary administration

A BV has obligations that a sole proprietorship does not. You are legally required to keep a complete financial administration, file a VAT return every quarter or every month, declare corporate income tax annually, and prepare the annual accounts and file them with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK). If you employ yourself as director-major shareholder (DGA) of your own BV, payroll is added to that. Each element has its own deadline. A missed filing results in a fine; an error in the corporate income tax return can have consequences for years.

Many entrepreneurs with a BV work with a general administration office that 'also does BVs'. The problem is that the adviser handling your file also helps freelancers and sole proprietors on the same day. The pitfalls of a holding structure, the rules around the DGA salary (customary salary, gebruikelijk loon) and the finer points of corporate income tax are a side issue for such a firm. At Nummerix they are the main issue. We work exclusively for entrepreneurs with a BV or on their way to a BV, and you notice that in the quality of the advice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is included in the fixed monthly fee?

The fixed monthly fee (excl. VAT) covers the complete financial administration, periodic VAT returns, the corporate income tax return, preparing and filing the annual accounts and the payroll for the DGA. If your BV also has employees, we discuss whether their payroll is included as standard or added separately. You know exactly what is included in advance.

Can I outsource only the annual accounts and the corporate income tax return?

Yes. If you keep your own records during the year, you can engage us only for the annual accounts and the corporate income tax return: €695 excl. VAT for one BV, €995 excl. VAT for a holding + operating BV, provided the bookkeeping is complete. See annual accounts + corporate income tax for your Dutch BV.

What happens if I want to switch from my current bookkeeper?

We arrange the transfer. Once you accept the quote, we contact your current firm to collect your records and any open files. You do not have to have awkward conversations yourself. We agree the timing with you; the start of a quarter or financial year is practical, but switching mid-year is also possible. You can read more details on the page about switching bookkeeper.

How does the DGA salary work and do you monitor it for me?

As a director-major shareholder you are required to pay yourself at least the so-called customary salary. The tax authority (Belastingdienst) sets minimum requirements for its level. We process your salary every month, pay the payroll tax (loonheffing) on time and make sure the level of your DGA salary meets the statutory standard. If the tax authority carries out an audit, your records are in order.

Do you also work for a holding company with several operating companies?

Yes. We manage the holding company and operating company as one package. The intercompany transactions, management fee and loans between the companies are processed correctly and you receive two separate sets of annual accounts. You can read more about this on the page about holding and operating company bookkeeping. State in your quote request how many BVs are in your structure.
